Taking two play-writing classes at the Berkeley Rep has given me an appreciation for the group dynamic that seems to go so well with writing plays. Hearing others read my words and being exposed to the ideas others have had has been a rewarding and enriching experience. I find it extremely difficult to find group of people that has the same passion for the written word as I do. If you do not want to drive half an hour, over three bridges, and sit in traffic for who knows how long, this may be the group for you. The patrons of this group should be open-minded to all forms of writing, yes even sci-fi, as well as, being open to honest but respectful feedback from the group.
