This group is for amateur Long Island filmmakers who strive to make movies, shorts, and documentaries on the DSLR platform. Cinematography, script writing, acting and technical knowledge will all be covered. Beginners with no experience welcome! The only requirement necessary is a desire to participate and learn. Our goal is to educate each other to become better filmmakers, and to hopefully work together to produce some quality projects by the end of the year.

The Long Island Screenwriters Association strives to provide support and resources to all members. Anyone can join and my goal is to provide all members with an encouraging, fun, informative, helpful and choice-based atmosphere. There is a monthly charge of $5 to cover the cost of the monthly subscription fee and to offset expenses.
